Updated: I’ve already finished the state property taxes online myself. Thank you for those who’ve provided input or responded.

This is not the state or federal returned, but homeowner property tax returns.
You'll need to sign in or create an account to connect with an expert.
We don't typically offer property tax return preparation, but I will forward your suggestion to add this functionality to the appropriate team. Thank you for your valued feedback!
Thanks. It's strange because there is a place on TT website that says they DO property tax returns when you file the state (there's a separate option to add-on). However, I used full-service so it's strange it wasn't offered or included.
I have never heard of TurboTax assisting with property tax payments.
Some state returns include local tax returns, and school tax returns which TurboTax can include.
Some states also offer Property Tax credits and rebates. Some of the property tax rebates/refunds require a separate filing which TurboTax supplies, but not actually filing a property tax bill.
Are you asking about filing a form for a property tax rebate? If so, which state?
This is from the TT page. It says you can do it, but "you" means if you're the one filing, not the tax expert. That's why it's frustrating, as that doesn't even show as an option to include for the tax expert. Seems odd that you pay for full service but you're not really getting full tax services. Even if TT included it as an additional fee, like they do for filing state taxes, then I could see that.
Yes, you can file your Minnesota M1PR Property Tax Refund form using TurboTax. See this help article for more information. This is a form that is unique to Minnesota so many users are not familiar with it.
The TurboTax Forms Availability Tool shows that Form M1PR is available and is supported for e-filing (if the tax return prepared along with it is eligible for e-filing).
I appreciate your input. However, the link just directs to the exact screenshot I uploaded, again, it only is available to utilize if the tax payer is the one filing their taxes through TT, not if you opted to use the full service tax professional through TT.
so while my state taxes are completed already, there is no way for me to have the M1PR filed unless I do so on my own outside of TT.
In this case, the Minnesota online portal is your best bet for filing a Property Tax refund. You may file that here.
Thank you. I’ve already filed online. I’m just trying to understand why TT wouldn’t consider adding as an option.
You can file your M1PR when you prepare your Minnesota taxes in TurboTax. It is at the end of the state interview.
