Mortgage interest is an itemized deduction and if you are taking the standard deduction on your 2018 return, then none of the itemized deduction amounts entered will be reflected on your return. See more information below.

In Schedule E, the other Expenses disappears when you fill out the Miscellaneous Expense and have at least more than 5K expense
