Why did my child tax credit go away? I may not have income. But I have child support and support her.

Child support is not counted as earned/taxable income. It is not supposed to be entered on your tax return. It does not count toward child tax credit or any other child-related credits.

Okay..yes I know this but why did my child tax credit go away. I should still get credit for having my daughter. We exist.

The child tax credit can only reduce tax that you owe. It is not a refund. If you had no taxable income, you do not owe tax--so no child tax credit.
