Why can't I claim my daughter as a dependent? She lives at home, we pay all her expenses, but she earned more than $4050. Is there any exceptions to this rule?

Her income will not factor if she is under 24 AND a full time student OR permanently disabled. Otherwise, if she was 19 on December 31st her income MUST be under $4050.
