Why can't I add child care expenses to my tax return?

I have done ally taxes bit have never had child care expenses before. When filing out the dependent care section it asks if we are either Full time students or disabled and we are neither but it says we can get a break if we are employed.  It never let's me enter any information and I can't find a form 2441 on turbo tax

You have to actually enter the income from both of you in order to get the childcare credit.   Have you entered your income yet?  And if one of you is self-employed but showed a loss, you cannot get the childcare credit on a joint return.

And make sure you enter each W2 and self employment under the right person's name.  That causes a lot of problems.
