Why am I getting EIC when I have no children?

As far as I am concerned I should not qualify for EIC but it still says that I am receiving it.

For tax year 2021 only the upper age limit for being eligible for EIC has been removed.  You can be eligible for EIC if you have no children and are age 65 or older.

How old are you?  You no longer have to be under 65 to get the EIC if you have no children.   Just over 19.

You don't need a child to qualify or EIC.     Children just increase the amount that you get.
