Why am I being asked if I paid property tax on a home I do not own??

You might have paid property tax in an earlier year, or it could just be that TurboTax is simply assuring that you don't forego any potential deductions.

Just answer any questions appropriately.

I suspect you are being asked this on a state return. Which state I don't know since there's 37 possibilities. For some states this is a perfectly normal and legitimate question if you are renting your home in a state that taxes personal income and allows renters to take a "renter's credit" on that state tax return.
