I believe you mean that you want to know where to enter the rent you pay for your primary residence, where you lived during the year. If so, you get no deduction for rent on your primary home (unless you used it for business) on your federal income tax return, so those costs are not to be entered.
You may get a credit on your state tax return for rent paid, but we would need to know what state you live in to comment on that. If so, you would see a request for that information when you complete your state tax return in TurboTax.
RENT
There is not a rent deduction or credit on your Federal return. If your state has anything for renters you will be prompted to enter your rent info when you complete your state return. As far as I know, the states that have anything for rent are Arizona, California, Connecticut, Hawaii, Indiana, Iowa, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, Vermont, Washington DC, and Wisconsin.
