Where on the turbotax form do I enter the major improvements for my home sale?

found the answer.  Its under Tell us about the purchase of your home. Click on "easy guide" and then click Continue and you will see it "Adjusted cost bars Easy Guide."

You include the cost of improvements when entering the Adjusted Basis of the home in the Sale of Home section.
