where does my credit for 2023 refund applied to 2024 tax show up?

Line 26 of form 1040 ("amount applied from 2023 return").  If you also made any quarterly estimated payments, they will also be included on line 26.

To enter 2023 refund applied to 2024 return: 

1. Open your return
2. Select Pick up where I left off
3. Select Federal then Deductions and Credits.
4. Scroll down to Estimates and Other Taxes Paid
5. Select Start or Revisit next to Income Taxes Paid. 
6. Select Start or Revisit to the right of 2023 refund applied to 2024. You can enter amounts for both Federal and State.
