Where do you claim federal and state taxes paid in 2016

If you are asking about estimated state and federal taxes paid in 2016:

To enter estimated taxes paid (Federal, State, Local)

• Click on Federal Taxes (Personal using Home and Business)
• Click on Deductions and Credits
• Click on I'll choose what I work on (if shown)
• Scroll down to Estimates and Other Taxes Paid
• On Estimates, click on the start or update button

Click Start or Update next to the taxes you paid in 2016

OR:

• Type in estimated taxes paid in the search box, top right of your screen, theclick the magnifying glass

Click the jump to  estimated taxes paid  ink
