One cannot deduct federal taxes paid for a prior year liability.

However, if you are referring to state tax paid in 2016, follow the below steps.

• Click on Federal Taxes (Personal using Home and Business)
• Click on Deductions and Credits
• Click on I'll choose what I work on (if shown)
• Scroll down to Estimates and Other Taxes Paid
• On Estimates, click on the start or update button

OR:

• Type in estimated taxes paid in the search box, top right of your screen, theclick the magnifying glass

• Click the jump to  estimated taxes paid  ink in the search results
