Where can I find the section to add additional HSA contributions? All the forums or AI assistants are not accurate.

This is how you enter your contribution to your HSA outside of payroll:

1. In TurboTax Online, open your return
2. Click on Search (magnifying glass icon) at the top right of your screen
3. In the Search box, enter HSA and click Enter
4. In the search result box, click on Go to HSA
5. TurboTax will take you directly to the HSA section
6. On the next page titled Select the health-related accounts you had in 2025, check Health Savings Account (HSA) and click Continue
7. On the next page titled 1099-SA Summary, click Continue
8. You will then have a page titled Let's enter your HSA contributions with a box to enter your HSA contributions made outside of payroll

Click on Federal on the left side of the online program screen

Click on Deductions & Credits

Scroll down to Medical

On 1099-SA, HSA, MSA, click the start button
