How old are kids?
There could be a number of reasons. Is one of the children older than 16? If so, you do not get the child tax credit for that child for 2022, but you can still get the $500 credit for other dependents for the child. If they are both under the age of 17, please provide some details here.. Did you enter Social Security numbers for each child? Was one of them born in 2022?
And.....you posted your question from the online Deluxe Live software ---- if you are really using that Live software you can talk to your tax expert for help.
You are posting from TurboTax Live. You can arrange for the Live help you are paying the extra fee for with your questions from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. Pacific time.

Almost 2 and one is just over seven months
Is the newborn showing up as Other Dependent? Be sure when it asks how long your child lived with you that you pick THE WHOLE YEAR (which is acceptable for newborns) and not just the number of months. Go back and double check that.
And watch out for this question, Did child pay for most of his living expenses?
It’s not asking if you did. And then a few screens later if a Relative help support them.
Go back to My Info and click Edit by the baby. Make sure you select she lived with you THE WHOLE YEAR not just the number of months. A child born even on Dec 31 is considered to live with you the whole year. It even says that on the screen.
Thank you so much
Yes you must read the screen carefully ... it gives you the answer ...
