Yes, you can claim your granddaughter and great-grandson as dependents since you provide more than half of their support and she made less than $4,150 even though they don't live in the same home as you do. You would receive a $500 nonrefundable tax credit for each of them as they would be "Qualifying Relatives" instead of "Qualifying Children" since they did not live in the same principal household as you.
