You'd enter the cost of your solar panels, minus the credit amount, as an asset for depreciation purposes, and prorate to reflect the portion of your home that's devoted to your home office.

Solar credit do I enter the cost of the battery storage part for Qualified battery storage and the rest cost for panels, wiring, install, etc. for Solar electric costs ?
