We have 2 separate offices in our house. I can enter the home office deduction for my business, but cannot find a spot to enter it for my wife. Any ideas?

Married, filing jointly. Turbotax gave expense categories, based on my wife's industry. None of them bring me to the home office deduction for her.

You can search for the home office deduction using the magnifying glass icon in TurboTax Online then choose your wife's business to make changes.

To do this please follow these steps:

1. Within your return, search home office deduction using the magnifying glass at the top of the screen
2. Click the Jump to link that comes up
3. Select Edit for your wife's business
4. Scroll down to Add expenses for this work and click it
5. Click the dropdown for Less Common
6. Scroll through and click show more at the bottom until you find the home office
