Where do I add a car donation to charity? There is no box to do this.

Vehicle donations are entered in the Charitable Donations section under Deductions & Credits.

Select Tax tools, Tools, Topic search
Type 'charitable donations - items' in the search box, the select GO

Decide if you want to import from ItsDeductible or enter the donation without ItsDeductible. If entering in the program, select Items as your category. Continue to choose a category (car, boat, etc) then continue to enter the details of the car donation.

Note: If the value of your vehicle donation is greater than $500, the charity should send you a Form 1098-C.
