Using 2025 TurboTax Premier, how do I file a separate return for my child

If you are using the Premier desktop edition installed on your personal computer, click on File at the top left of the desktop program screen.  Click on New Tax Return.

Are you using the Desktop Premier program or the Online version?

For Desktop program go up to File-New

You can start another return in TurboTax Online by:
Logging out if you are in your account
Choose what TurboTax Online product you want to use for the second return

Create your account screen
Set up a new login for the second return
Start working on the new return
