Under "vehicle registration fees," how do I deduct a car I no longer own? This was not for a business.

As long as you paid the registration fees in 2016, it doesn't matter if you no longer own the car.

You'll enter your vehicle registration information by following this path:  Federal Taxes > Deductions & Credits > Cars and Other Things You Own > Car Registration Fees.  Then follow the prompts.  TurboTax will ask you to write in the make & model of the vehicle, and the amount you paid.
