Under the section home expenses what are they referring to when they ask for the amount of insurance?

Generally they are asking for mortgage insurance premiums UNLESS you are taking the home office deduction, then they could be referring to your homeowners insurance.

In Schedule E, the other Expenses disappears when you fill out the Miscellaneous Expense and have at least more than 5K expense
