Turbotax thinks that my W2 is from foreign sources - its not. But I'm getting a complaint in the review. How can I uncheck that?

Situtation: W2 contains all us income. Foreign income is not in W2. Need to add that seperately. Don't want any exclusions.

Go back to the W-2 section and review all the entries on your W-2.  Also, the questions after the W-2 where it asks if any of these less common situations apply, make sure the box is not checked for foreign source.

If there is nothing that you can see to change, then you can delete the W-2 by clicking the trashcan on the summary page, log out of TurboTax, clear your cache and cookies, then log back in and re-enter your W-2.

If you uploaded the W-2 using a PDF, or Picture....then you may have to delete the W-2 and enter/type it manually.

If it was imported from the W-2 provider over the web...then should be OK, but as @Vanessa A indicated, you may have to Edit it and review all the entries that are in it, in case there was something that didn't transfer in correctly.

I did everything like you suggested. This time I didn't add Foreign Earned Income. Still I am ask to do the following review. No matter what I enter, the review does not pass. Sidenote: I do have foreign earned income with is not listed im my W2.
