TurboTax thinks I owned a home in 2018 but I did not. What info (and where) am I entering incorrectly to tell TurboTax that I owned a home?

You might have selected that you have a mortgage interest or related information.  To fix that, you can simply remove the form.  Here are the steps:

• Sign into your account, select Take me to my return
• To your left, select Tax Tools, click on the drop-down arrow
• Select Tools
• Under Other helpful links, choose Delete a form
• Scroll down the list to locate the Schedule 1098 and related worksheets, select Delete and Continue with My Return

Thanks for the response. I deleted Form 1098 but am still getting this message. What other entries should I revisit?

there is also a Home Interest worksheet you should remove, if it's on your list.
