Turbotax summary of taxes paid in 2017 is inaccurate

The Turbo Tax Summary of taxes paid includes only the RMD amount. We made an additional payment in December which has been acknowledged by the IRS. This payment is not included in the total of 2017 taxes paid. What steps are necessary for Turbo Tax to show the correct amount.

To add your federal, state or local estimated taxes paid for the current filing period: 

Select: Federal>Deductions & Credits> Estimates and Other Taxes Paid>Estimated Tax Payments and press "Start" (or "Revisit").

Select "Yes" to "Did you pay federal estimated taxes for 2017"

You will see the payments listed on your return under quarterly payments

To add the additional payment made in December, select: "Add another payment"
