TurboTax is only deducting medical exp paid by HSA My wife had extensive medical expenses prior to her employment last year Where do I enter those expenses

You would enter your wife's medical expenses using the steps listed below.  If these expenses were incurred last year you would have to amend your 2024 tax return to include them.

1. Click on Search at the top right of your TurboTax screen
2. Type medical expenses in the search box
3. Click on the link that says Jump to medical expenses
4. Your screen will say Did you spend more than $XXX on medical expenses in 2025? Select Yes.
5. Your next screen says Tell us about any prescription medication expenses. Enter your amount and Continue
6. Your next screen says Tell us about anything spent on medical professionals. Enter your amount and Continue.
7. Your next screen says Tell us about anything spent on medical facitity fees. Enter your amount and Continue.
8. Your next screen says Tell us about anything spent on XRAY and lab work fees. Enter your amount and Continue.
9. Your next screen says Tell us about any eye care expenses. Enter your amount and Continue.
10. Your next screen says Tell us about any medical supplies and equipment. Enter your amount and Continue
11. Your next screen says tell us about anything spent on medical travel. Enter your amount and Continue.
12. Your next screen says How much did you spend on insurance premiums. Enter the amount and Continue.
13. Your next screen says Tell us about any other medical expenses. Enter your amount and Continue.
14. Your next screen says Tell us about any medical reimbursements. Enter them and Continue.
15. Continue through your screens and answer any follow-up questions.
