How do I fill out form 982?

TurboTax does not have an interview for Form 982 and it is also not possible to import this form. This form must be entered manually through forms mode in any Desktop Download/CD version of TurboTax. This of course does mean that you will have to fill out the form yourself without assist. If you are using online and you have not paid anything you can easily cancel and change to the desktop version for your return.
