I’m using TurboTax Premier 2025 (Desktop, Windows). After the 3/28/2026 update, I encountered two critical issues:

1. This is being looked into, but for the time being so you can still file, for the missing dealership transfer question, if you go back to the Credits and Deductions section, then select edit next to the EV credit for the vehicle you transferred, the option to select that the credit was transferred is there on the second time through.
2. For the errors, for hit a snag, have you tried to clear your cache and cookies? Be sure TurboTax is fully closed, then clear cache and cookies, you may want to also reboot the computer, and then reopen the file.

Following your suggested workaround, I entered the “Amount of credit transferred to dealer.” However, a red exclamation mark then appeared next to Form 8936‑A with the error: “Tentative Credit must be entered,” even though this question had already been answered during the EV interview.
To clear the error, I had to manually enter the value on Form 8936‑A, Line 9 (Forms Mode), which creates an override.
Could you please confirm:
Will a manual override like this prevent successful e‑filing, or can the return still be submitted electronically?
Does the e‑filed return match exactly what appears in Forms Mode, including manually overridden values?
