Writing to see if anyone else is having this issue with Desktop version. Even though I entered max SDI (CA VPDI) on W-2 (manual entry), the data is not being pulled in to Schedule A line 5a State Tax Deduction or State Tax Deduction Worksheet. Had to do an override on State Tax Deduction Worksheet, Line 17 "Other" and manually enter VPDI to populate Schedule A and State Schedule CA to account for SDI. Anyone else have this issue with Desktop client?

Title should be 2021 vice 2022
Can you clarify if it was included on Boxes 14 or Boxes 18-19-20? @rrb01
@MaryK4 - Box 14 only. Manually entered (not imported from employer automatically). No entries made in 18-19-20
Horrible and full of bugs. I had to end up doing it manually. Impossible to enter releve 2 from quebec.
Does not import source deductions.
It has gone down the drain. They must have hired people that worked on windows 10 disaster
Never again for me !
This issue still has not been addressed. Is there an official method to report bugs in the software?
I have several bugs in the actual 2022 version of Turbo Tax desktop. It isn't subtracting the government interest from my 1099-DIV statements and it is not subtracting QCDs correctly from the RMD's. (Off by about $5000 in my favor!) I would think Turbo Tax would have caught and corrected things like that by now. How can I proceed?
Government dividends
The government dividends are probably supposed to be listed on Schedule B and page 1 of the 1040. They are subtracted out for some states. What kind of government dividends are they and are they not being subtracted out at the federal or state level, and if at the state level, which state?
QCD and RMD
And how is the QCD and RMD being handled? What was your RMD? What was the 1099-R that it was reported on? What is the amount of your QCD? line 4a on the 1040 should have the total amount of your IRA distributions, and line 4b should have that total less the QCD amount. Are you saying that this is not so? If so, please answer the questions above.
