Turbo Tax Online is not allowing me to proceed with the Foreign Tax Credit. I did pay taxes in a foreign country and live abroad. How can I correct this?

To clarify, can you elaborate on why TurboTax is not allowing you to proceed?

Apparently the online platform has a programming issue for inputing foreign tax.  Basically it is not providing a entryway for that data.

Yes, there is a section to report them Here is how to begin the process. 

1. Go to the Federal tab on the left. 
2. Select Deductions & Credits at the top.
3. Scroll down to the section titled Estimates and Other Taxes Paid.
4. Find Foreign Taxes and click Start (or Revisit).
