TT Deluxe Desktop 2025 Wages & Income, Less Common Income 1099-SA, HSA 2025 Available Now

I am using TurboTax TT Deluxe Desktop 2025.

Under the Wages & Income summary that compares 2024 to 2025 at section Less Common Income 1099-SA, HSA 2025, shows 2024 amount but when I update the HSA section for 2025, column 2025 still says "Available Now" but should show my 2025 amount.  I have delete my HSA details, reentered and still remains Available Now.

Is this a bug or error that needs to be fixed?  I have used TT for over 10 years and first time dealing with error or bugs or explain how to enter my 2025 HSA to show my 2025 amount in this summary section?

How do I actual reach out to Turbo Tax technical support to address this error or is there a phone number I can call?  Thanks  PS does Intuit technical staff read this support error questions?

The number (2025 amount) you are referring to is the amount of the HSA distributions reported on your 1099-SA form (s). Assuming that all of these distributions were for qualified medical expenses, this amount will make no difference to your tax due, so your final tax due or refund is not affected.

Are you using Desktop/Mac or Desktop/Windows?

On your 8889-T (see Forms), do you see your 1099-SA amount on lines 14 and 15? If so, this would be correct for a 1099-SA distribution that was totally for qualified medical expenses.

Go to line 1099-SA, HSA:  Shows my 2025 HSA amount but for 2025 shows "Available Now"

I have deleted and re-entered 1099-SA and will not update in this summary section the 2025 HSA amount.

When I open Form 8889-T all data is correct, yes lines 14a and 15 show correct HSA amounts but remains "Available Now" in the Wage & Income summary section.

This is also case in the 2024/2025 summary for Deductions some lines remain Available Now are updating with values.

Seem like error/bug with TT software.

As long as your Form(s) 8889 has the correct information then whatever is causing the program to show "Available Now"on the "Less Common Income" screen will not prevent the accurate electronic filing of your tax return.  I realize anything that doesn't look like it's flawless can be unsettling when it comes to filing your tax returns, but in this case I wouldn't worry about it.

I paid good money for Turbo Tax Deluxe 2025 and expect the tax software to be error/bug free.  I use the summary for both income and deductions to see 2024 vs 2025.

Great customer service would forward this error/bug to your software developers to fix for all users of your software not just me that pointed out the error/bug.  Not tell me ignore the error/bug but fix ASAP for all users of your desktop software.

Whom can I contact about this error/bug and request a refund on my cost purchasing your defective tax software?  I expect refund after being told to just use the defective software.  Poor customer service.  Next year maybe switch to different tax software product after over 20 years using Turbo Tax.

I update my Turbo Tax Deluxe 2025 desktop Win11 this morning hope the error/bug was fixed.  You tax software still has the same error that I mention prior.  I guess my request to have this forward to technical expert to address and fix is being ignored.  I searched and call several listed phone numbers and can't get in contact to anybody to report this issues and sure bad customer service from your online tax expert telling me all is ok just file your tax return.  This issue is still not resolved.

I can't get my test cases to reproduce your situation, so could you do us a favor and send us a sanitized copy of your return so that we can see what you are seeing? By "sanitized", I mean that the process of creating this copy will redact all personally identifying information.

TurboTax Desktop/Download Versions:

1. Open your return.
2. Click the Online tab in the black bar across the top of TurboTax and select “Send Tax File to Agent” *
3. This will generate a message that a diagnostic copy will be created. Click on OK and the tax file will be sanitized and transmitted to us.
4. Please provide us the Token Number (including the dash) that was generated in the response.

Refer to prior reply as I was able to attach screen shot this time.  "Available Now" should update with my 2025 HSA $ amounts.  I deleted, started over remains Available Now.  This is a issue bug/error on both Dections and Incomes when select what to work on/what to update....several areas remains Available Now for 2025 when $ amounts are entered.  Should show the 2025 $ amounts.  Thanks

Thank you for the token #,  @GBaughman17  -  Are you still experiencing this issue on the summary screen?  There have been a few updates since this was reported.   And can you tell me what state returns (if any) are attached to your tax return token file?

Morning,

I update the TT Deluxe 2025 desktop this morning and the two summary sections for income and deductions still will not update "Available Now" after entering the data.  I am extremely disappointed in Intuit TurboTax customer service and tech support inability to address this error/bud in you software.  State is MO.

I still would like to speak to real person etc., and expect refund on the cost I paid for defective software.  It is now end of Feb 2026 and all bug errors should be researched and fixed when reported otherwise customers reading this concern online will start questioning why use TurboTax in the future.

I am still waiting on a solution fixing the bug with the Turbo Tax Deluxe 2025 desktop Win software that I purchased.  I think Intuit TurboTax had enough time to fix this bug.  I will be filing a complaint with the BBB, Attorney General, etc. Sharing this forum thread, etc.  I also may consider small claim court as due date for 2025 taxes is April 15, 2026.

When I look at the summary screen, I see totals for 2024 and 2025 using the desktop software.   Hopefully, your summary screen shows the same now.   @GBaughman17

I updated this morning, updated the summary sections showing "available now" and not change?  Going in circles.
