The house we were renting was foreclosed upon so we were forced to move. Can I deduct the moving expenses?

Sorry, no. Moving expenses are no longer deductible on a federal tax return due to the tax code changes in effect for tax years 2018 thru 2025. Except for military personal with Permanent Change of Station orders.
