The field to type the name of child is shorter than last year and now the system does not recognize my son's name. How to fix it?

The 2017 version of the TurboTax allowed 21 characters (the length of my son's name) but the 2018 version allows only 20. Any adjustment that I tried caused my e-file to be rejected. How to fix it?

Tax returns don't reject because of a first name. Only the last name is compared to the Social Security records. What is your reject code?
