Are you filing Single?  What is your AGI?  I can put it into a spreadsheet I made.   Where are you looking for it?  The 6,000 Senior Deduction should be on 1040 line 13b.  It is not with the Standard Deduction on line 12e.

For Single the deduction starts to phase out at 75,000 and maxes out at 175,000
For Joint the deductions starts to phase out at 150,000 and maxes out at 250,000
If you are married you have to file a Joint return

Here is a chart I  made

This TurboTax Help reports that the Senior Deduction phase out begins at a modified adjusted gross income (MAGI) of $75,000 and is completely phased out at  a MAGI of $175,000.

The deduction may be found on lines 31 through 37 of IRS Schedule 1-A and on line 13b of the IRS form 1040.

What filing status are you reporting in the income tax return?  Please clarify.

I made you a screenshot from my TurboTax program for Single with AGI of 80,000.  Oh just thought of something, go back to My Info and check your date of birth.  Maybe it thinks you are under 65.  And that your ssn is VALID for employment.
