Taxes were already accepted, just got a form from first mortgage company with points paid, first form had 0. So never claimed them. Is that a problem? How do I fix this?

Already filed taxes and they got accepted. My mortgage loan had been swapped mortgage companies. The one emailed a form, so I printed and used that, now I have a form from my original mortgage company showing that I did pay points, the other form showed no points. So I put i paid no points on my taxes. Is that a problem? If so am I able to fix it? This is my first time buying a house.

Save a copy of your filed return on your computer.   Then open TurboTax and enter the missing 1098 info to see if it changes your refund.   If not, you don't need to Amend your return.  Just keep the copy of the 1098 for your records.

If it does, here's more info on Amending.

Don't prepare your Amended Return until after you have received your refund, though.  An Amended Return is mailed in and can take several weeks to process.  You have up to 3 years to file your amendment.
