Studen loan interest deduction in part year allocation (state tax)
Under the part-year allocation it asks for the portion of student loan interest deduction that was paid while I lived in Virginia. It shows a Federal amount of $2500. I moved from Virginia in April 2015, so would the Virginia deduction simply be $833?

Yes, if you only lived in VA for 4 months, 4/12 of the Federal amount would be a reasonable allocation.
