Thanks

We'd love to help you complete your tax return, but need more information. Can you please clarify what type of 1099 form you received and what box or boxes have amounts?
Thank you for the response.
2020 Box 2 is $676.70 and interest paid is 125.19
2021 Box 2 is $269.16 and interest paid is 44.41
2023 Box 3 is $842.74 and interest paid is blank (zero)
1099-G, sorry did not realize there was so many different ones. Really appreciate your help.
If you itemized your deductions in 2023, your state and local refunds from a previous year may be taxable. If you didn't itemize your deductions in 2023, you don't need to enter them. If you did itemize in 2023, enter the information, when you enter them. TurboTax will figure out if they are taxable or not. Even when your refund is taxable, it may not be the entire amount. It depends on how much the deduction affected your refund or tax bill in 2023.
You will have to enter the interest you received separately. You will have to enter them as if you were entering a form 1099-INT, and list the City of St. Louis as the payor.
