Ss# of my dependent child is wrong

 I keyed my oldest daughter's(who is filing taxes on her own) ss number by mistake on my dependent child's social security

If you have entered a social security number incorrectly, your return may reject, if that happens, you will be able to get back into the return and change it.  If the return is accepted by the IRS, however, you will have to amend your return and the dependent who is filing her own taxes will have to mail in her return this year.
