Sold my car for $1000. Was a gift years ago. It was undriveable whenI received. It cost move than $1000 to get it running. Do I still have to include the sale in income?

No, you don't have to report the sale of personal property (e.g. a car,) unless you used it in a business and claimed it as a business expense (standard mileage or actual operating costs).
