Revisit the energy-efficient vehicle section to delete your car.

• Continue working on your return in TurboTax Online. (If your return isn't open, you'll need to sign in and click Take me to my return.)
• Click Tax Tools (lower left side of your screen).
• Select Tools.
• In the pop-up window, select Topic Search.
• In the I'm looking for: box, type 8936.
• In the results bar, highlight 8936, qualified plug-in electric drive motor vehicle credit, then click GO.
• If you've entered your vehicle, you'll land on the Energy-Efficient Vehicle Summary. Click  Delete to the right of the vehicle information. (Click the first screenshot below for reference.)
• Select Yes on the Delete Confirmation screen. (Click the second screenshot below.)
