short form credit for home office deduction

Not sure what you are asking for.    There is not a "short form" now----not since the tax forms changed for 2018 and beyond.   If you are a W-2 employee you cannot deduct a home office on your federal return.   If you are self-employed it will go on your Schedule C with your other business expenses.  What are you trying to do?

Sorry---there is not a deduction on a federal return for that.

Sorry---W-2 employees cannot deduct expenses for working from home.  Job-related expenses were eliminated as a deduction for W-2 employees by the tax laws that changed for 2018 and beyond.  Your state tax laws might be different.
