I assume you’re trying to determine the capital gain. If you’re filing as single and the sales price is 250000 or less or married jointly and the sales price is 500000 or less there is no capital gain.
Sales of homes are typically recorded by your local tax authority e.g. county in Ohio.  You might contact those folks for the recorded sale when you bought your home.
