My wife and I are both self employed and turned 65 in 2022. We had 1095-A forms to enter for part of the year and Medicare premium's for the remaining part of the year. After entering 1095-A data there is nowhere to enter Medicare premiums and TurboTax won't let you update self employed health insurance line item.
You'll need to sign in or create an account to connect with an expert.
You will see an option for Insurance Payments when you enter your business expenses.
Then on the next screen you will see on option to enter Health Insurance Premiums
Your medicare premiums will be reflected on line 17 of schedule 1 as self-employed health insurance deduction, as allowed after taking into consideration any premium tax credits you were allowed on your marketplace insurance.
Thanks for your help, that ended that frustration for me!
