Can you please guide me step by step on how to report the sale of a real estate property in India.

Here are the instructions to add the sale of your home in India:

1. Open or continue your return.
2. Navigate to the sold second home screen:
   • TurboTax Online/Mobile: Go to Sale of Home.
3. Answer Yes on the Did you have investment income in 2024? screen, then Continue. If you land on the Your investments and savings screen, select Add Investments.
4. On the Let’s import your tax info page, click on Enter a different way.
5. On the OK, let’s start with one investment type—choose Other then Continue
6. Continue entering the information on your sale.
