Retired. File Joint. Wife self-employed. I pay healthcare w/after-tax dollars. Covers her. Can she deduct as business expense?

I am retired, but pay for healthcare with after-tax dollars - healthcare covers her as well.  She is self-employed. Since we file a joint return, can she deduct premiums as a business expense?

Yes, your spouse can deduct all health insurance premiums paid for both spouses and your dependents if the policy is in her name or in her business’ name. This amount is claimed as a deduction on line 29 of form 1040.

This is how you enter this cost in TurboTax:

You can't take the health insurance deduction for the self employed (line 29 of form 1040) if  your  health plan is subsidized by your or your spouse's employer or former employer.
You may still take the schedule A (itemized deductions) medical deduction.
