Regarding 2016 State Tax Refund. TT asks if I itemized in 2016. I itemized for State but took the standard deduction for Federal. How should I answer this?

Regarding 2016 State Tax Refund. TT asks if I itemized in 2016. I itemized for State but took the standard deduction for Federal. How should I answer this?
answer no... the question is related to if you got a benefit of a itemized deduction on your federal return last year so if you took the standard deduction, you got no further tax benefit and it won't be federally taxable income for 2017. State, is not relevant.
