The first installment for the recovery was $1200/person, and the second was $600/person. I am married, filing jointly. We received $2400 for the first, but my wife passed away in July, so I only received $600 for the second. When I fill in the Recovery rebate question in Turbo Tax, and I enter $600 for the second installment, it automatically assumes my wife is still alive and that I should have received $1200 for the second installment. Thus, it incorrectly calculates an additional $600.00 for my Federal Refund. How do I compensate for this?

The additional $600 is correct. Someone who passed away in calendar year 2020 and was eligible can receive both the EIP1 and the EIP2.
