Should we use turbotax desktop software or use turbotax online

I've been working from home since 2012 and never claimed my home office but want to claim my home office this year

You should be fine with TurboTax Deluxe.  Whether you use the online or desktop version is a matter of personal preference.  Some taxpayers want to see their tax forms in detail before finalizing their returns.  If that's you, you're better off with the desktop version of the software.
