Real estate taxes paid include storm water management, solid waste manage and mesquito/forest pest management fees. Do I include these in the total real estate tax paid?

Yes - You can include these items in the total real estate tax paid, IF these items are assessed for everyone in the jurisdiction at a like rate.

If the charges only apply to certain parts of the county or certain people yu cannot include them in your real estate tax paid.

Keep in mind that the amount of state and local taxes (SALT) (income and property taxes) you are allowed to deduct this year is $10,000.
