Where on my 2018 Tax Return form can I find if I had deducted all the points we paid for the new home we purchase as well as refinancing of our 2nd home?

The points that you had deducted in 2018 will be on Schedule A Line 10.

  • Line 10 c.  Points Deducted in prior years
  • Line 10 d. Amortized points allowable this year

Line 10 from Schedule A shows the amount from my 1098 for mortgage interest and there is no line 10c and 10d.

I apologize.  I was looking at 2019.  In 2018 in section 8 it includes interest and points together.  You may have to go back to the original 1098 to confirm the exact numbers.
