lots of things changed in 2022 but it's unusual to neither owe nor get a refund. we can't see your return.

....though..I guess I can see a zero being owed/refunded if you only get SS and a few other minor $$ amounts, such that the Std Deduction wiped it all out...... and never had any Federal or state Withholding done during the year.    That would be a zero.
